The Union of Industrial Workers and Laborers of the Maquiladora Industry (SJOIIM) continues to strengthen strategic alliances for the benefit of workers. On this occasion, General Secretary Juan Villafuerte Morales held a meeting with Blandina Rosa Guerra Fernández (Wendy Guerra), Coordinator of Well-being for the Tamaulipas Ministry of Economy, with the goal of promoting economic investment projects in the maquiladora sector.
Joint Efforts for Economic Development
The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between the labor sector, municipal, state, and federal authorities, aiming to generate growth opportunities and improve working conditions in Matamoros. Discussions focused on strategies to strengthen the maquiladora industry, attract new investments, and promote the well-being of SJOIIM members.
The event was also attended by Lic. Ernesto Ramírez, legal advisor for SJOIIM, along with other individuals interested in the economic development of the region.
