Municipal Government and ITACE Sign Collaboration Agreement in Matamoros

The Municipal Government of Matamoros and the Tamaulipas Institute for Employment Training (ITACE) have formalized a collaboration agreement, reinforcing their commitment to education and academic training for young people in the region.

The event, held at the Teatro de la Reforma, was attended by educational, government, and union representatives, who witnessed this significant commitment to strengthening education and workforce training in Matamoros.

A Commitment to Education

The General Secretary of the Union of Industrial Workers and Laborers of the Maquiladora Industry (SJOIIM), Juan Villafuerte Morales, attended as a special guest, accompanied by Sergio Villarreal Alejos, President of the SJOIIM Education Commission. Alongside students, teachers, and parents, they witnessed this joint effort to enhance education and vocational training in Matamoros.

In addition to signing the agreement, the event featured the 4th Parents’ Meeting, a space for dialogue and reflection on the role of families in students’ academic development. Additionally, certificates were awarded to students who completed their social service, recognizing their effort and dedication.
