Joerns de México Celebrates 15 Years of Growth and Commitment

In an atmosphere of camaraderie and unity, Joerns (JHS) de México celebrated its 15th anniversary, joined by corporate representatives, INDEX Matamoros leadership, workers, SJOIIM members, and the Union’s Executive Committee.

Honoring Employee Trajectory

The celebration began with the presentation of awards to employees who reached 5, 10, and 15 years of service, recognizing their dedication and contribution to the company’s development.

Welcome Remarks

Lic. Juan Manuel Márquez, Human Resources Manager, welcomed attendees and highlighted that Joerns has spent fifteen years offering job opportunities, promoting personal and professional growth, and upholding its commitment to worker safety and well-being.

Fifteen Years of Achievements

Lic. Isaías Badillo García, Plant Manager, shared a meaningful reflection on the company’s journey, emphasizing the strong workplace culture that defines Joerns:

“I’ve worked in many places, but none like Joerns. Its people and spirit of service are unmatched. We went through difficult times, such as the pandemic, but today we are grateful to celebrate these first fifteen years. Congratulations to everyone!”

Union Recognition

SJOIIM General Secretary Juan Villafuerte Morales acknowledged the close collaboration between the company and the union:

“Fifteen years may sound simple, but we’ve witnessed this company grow from the beginning. Joerns has fostered a positive work environment and strived to offer the best benefits for our members. This is the result of teamwork between the union, the company, and the workers.”

INDEX Matamoros Remarks

To conclude, Ing. Roberto Matus, President of INDEX Matamoros, congratulated Joerns and emphasized the importance of the unified work between the Maquiladora Association, Joerns, and the union in supporting the workforce of Matamoros.

Members of the union’s Labor Commission also attended: Magda Eloísa Ávalos, Marina Rocha, Carmen Ramírez and Hortensia Flores.
