The Regional Federation of Workers of Matamoros (FRTM) reaffirmed its support for the leadership of Carlos Aceves del Olmo, highlighting his role in defending labor rights and his strong leadership at the helm of the Confederation of Workers of Mexico (CTM).

Full Support from FRTM

FRTM General Secretary, Juan Villafuerte Morales, expressed the federation’s full support for Aceves del Olmo, aligning with the resolutions of the 142nd National Assembly of the CTM, where it was determined that he would be the sole candidate to continue leading Mexico’s most important labor organization.

Strong Leadership in Defending Workers’ Rights

The FRTM leader emphasized that, despite the challenges the labor sector has faced in recent years, under the leadership of Carlos Aceves del Olmo, the CTM has remained steadfast in defending workers’ interests.

Although the internal CTM election process will take place next year, FRTM has already defined its stance: to continue supporting a leadership that has shown commitment and delivered results in the fight for labor rights in Mexico.With this endorsement, the FRTM reinforces its commitment to the workers of Matamoros and aligns with the CTM’s vision to continue strengthening worker protection and representation across the country.
