In an effort to enhance training for students and workers’ children, SJOIIM collaborated in organizing the first business forum for the new Mexican school’s dual education system, aimed at integrating high school students into the maquiladora industry.
Event Details
The forum was held at Cbtis 275, where Alejandro Camilo Muñiz Ojeda, the school’s director, highlighted the importance of implementing the dual model in companies. This system allows students from the third to fifth semester to join companies to practically apply their theoretical knowledge.
Participation and Support
The event saw the presence and support of key figures such as Juan Villafuerte Morales, General Secretary of SJOIIM, and Tirso Cortes, Secretary of the Education Commission, along with representatives from the maquiladora industry and various business chambers such as INDEX and COPARMEX.
Benefits of the Dual Model
This model offers significant opportunities for young people by providing them with practical experience that enhances their employment prospects and contributes to the development of skills relevant to the local industry.
Conclusion
We encourage all interested parties to support and participate in the expansion of this educational model, which promises to open more opportunities for our youth in the labor and professional fields.
Implementing the dual education model represents SJOIIM’s ongoing commitment to fostering practical education and youth job insertion, which are key to the economic and social progress of our community.
